Frequently Asked Questions
-
Q. What is the Meet Your Beauty Class?
Meet Your Beauty Class is Amorepacific’s social contribution initiative that supports young people in moving beyond conventional beauty standards and discovering the many qualities that make them uniquely beautiful—including their strengths, interests, and inner selves. It encourages youth to embrace their own unique beauty rather than define themselves by their appearance or the judgments of others.
-
Q. What is the core message of the Meet Your Beauty Class?
The core message of Meet Your Beauty Class is “own unique beauty.” We focus on experiences that help young people understand and embrace themselves and discover their unique value and potential. We believe that when different forms of beauty are recognized and respected together, we can all feel empowered to be true to ourselves.
-
Q. What kind of activities take place in the Meet Your Beauty Class?
In Meet Your Beauty Class, participants examine the beauty standards portrayed on social media and reflect on where their own ideas of beauty come from. Using the MYB 10-sided indicator, they identify ten keywords that describe who they are and express themselves through a variety of creative and artistic activities, including color exploration and poster making. By reflecting on themselves and understanding one another’s differences, participants broaden their perspectives on beauty.
-
Q. Can schools or institutions also apply for the Meet Your Beauty Class?
Yes, absolutely.. The Meet Your Beauty Class operates in collaboration with various organizations, including schools, Offices of Education, youth centers, and support centers for out-of-school youth. Depending on the timing and target audience of the program, participating institutions are selected through open application calls or individual consultations. Any institution serving youth is welcome to inquire about eligibility and application availability.
-
Q. What is the Meet Your Beauty Mentoring program?
Meet Your Beauty Mentoring is a program designed to help middle school students in underserved areas explore and design their career paths. It is not just a one-time event. The program consists of a three-step journey: an AI-powered career exploration test, mentoring sessions with around 60 online and offline mentors, and the completion of a career portfolio. This journey is integrated with middle school career education curricula, allowing it to be continuously utilized as a record of each student's career growth.
-
Q. Who is the target audience for Meet Your Beauty Mentoring?
Meet Your Beauty Mentoring was launched to bridge the "career gap" experienced by students in underserved areas, as career exploration opportunities are heavily concentrated in urban centers. Therefore, the program is open to all middle school students (grades 7–9) in these underserved regions where such opportunities are scarce. Selection is conducted on a school-by-school basis rather than individually. The inaugural program in the second half of 2026 will primarily focus on schools in Jindo-gun.
-
Q. How do schools apply for Meet Your Beauty Mentoring, and how are they selected?
Applications for Meet Your Beauty Mentoring are submitted on a school-by-school basis in response to official announcements from the Offices of Education (or regional offices). Once a school submits its letter of intent through the local office, the final participating schools are determined through a screening process. All students at the selected schools will participate, with priority given to schools in underserved areas, such as depopulated regions, rural townships (eup/myeon), and small-scale schools.
-
Q. What is the Meet Your Beauty Academy campaign?
Meet Your Beauty Academy is a program under Amorepacific’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) campaign, "Meet Your Beauty." It is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of creators in the beauty and wellness sectors, rooted in the core value of "authenticity." The academy features an experiential curriculum that integrates brand experiences, content creation training, and social contribution activities, empowering participants to grow into influential opinion leaders who drive positive change.
-
Q. Who is eligible to participate in Meet Your Beauty Academy?
The program is open to any college student creator who is majoring in beauty or content-related fields, currently running a YouTube channel, or simply passionate about beauty and wellness and eager to communicate with the world through their own unique perspective.
-
Q. What is the social significance of the Meet Your Beauty Academy?
Far from being a simple creator-nurturing program, the Meet Your Beauty Academy is a campaign that puts Amorepacific's corporate social responsibility (CSR) philosophy into practice: "Make A MORE Beautiful World." It is structured so that participants do not just stop at brand experiences and content growth, but directly experience generating social value. By connecting Amorepacific’s expertise and assets—built on 80 years of exploring beauty—with social value, the ultimate goal of the Meet Your Beauty Academy is to enable young people who have discovered their true selves to grow into positive opinion leaders, creating a virtuous cycle that guides the next generation.
