Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q. What is the "Less Plastic, We Are Fantastic" campaign?

The Amorepacific Group launched this campaign to fulfill its group-wide commitment to plastic reduction and to address plastic-related issues alongside customers and various stakeholders. Moving beyond traditional 4R (Reduce, Recycle, Reuse, Return) activities, this campaign is driving meaningful changes in how plastic products are manufactured, purchased, used, and discarded. In addition to "AMORE:CYCLE," an initiative dedicated to collecting used cosmetic containers, the campaign collaborates with the "FANTASTIC CREW" and partners with social enterprises and social ventures to discover innovative solutions to plastic challenges. Furthermore, it runs internal programs to raise awareness and encourage eco-friendly practices among employees.

  • Q. What is AMORE:CYCLE?

AMORE:CYCLE is a resource circulation campaign that collects and recycles used cosmetic containers. The initiative is designed to minimize environmental impact by turning empty bottles that would otherwise be discarded back into valuable resources. To participate, simply completely empty and wash your used cosmetic containers and return them to any Amorepacific store, or request a pickup online through Amore Mall.

  • Q. Which containers can be returned, and where can I participate? (Eligible items and drop-off locations)

We collect full-size plastic and glass cosmetic containers, including skincare, hair, body, hand care, perfume, and select makeup products (such as cushions and compacts). (Please note that eligible items may vary slightly depending on the retail channel.) Empty bottle collection is available across domestic Amorepacific Group retail channels, including Aritaum, department stores, hypermarkets, Innisfree, Etude, Espoir, Amore Yongsan, and Amore Mall.

  • Q. What is Fantastic Crew?

Fantastic Crew is an ambassador program that takes the lead in practicing plastic reduction activities alongside Amorepacific. The first generation was composed of various interest groups and clubs actively working for the planet and our healthy lives. The second generation is a joint plastic reduction campaign by Amorepacific and WWF under the concept of "Fantastic Crew in Nature." Building on Season 1's culture of daily urban participation, Season 2 has evolved into an action-oriented campaign centered on the natural environment. By directly intervening in sites where plastic pollution actually occurs—such as oceans, mountains, and islands—the program strengthens the depth of its execution and on-site impact. Season 2 of Fantastic Crew officially begins with an opening ceremony on June 27, 2026.

  • Q. What activities make up Fantastic Crew Season 2?

Season 2 will consist of 6 Action Crews (with 10 or more members per team) and will progress through three stages. Step 1 features the Launch Ceremony & Fantastic Day at Amorepacific’s global headquarters in Yongsan, which includes a Less Plastic declaration ceremony, environmental education, and a global insights lecture. In Step 2, the Less Plastic Action Campaign, teams will directly carry out plastic reduction activities in natural settings, such as oceans, mountains, and urban green spaces. Finally, Step 3 focuses on Content Development, where participants will share their activities through contributions to Amore Story and social media posts. The campaign will take place from July to September 2026 across various locations nationwide, including Seoul, Gangwon, and Jeju.

  • Q. What is the Impact Fund program?

The Impact Fund is a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative that drives sustainable change by investing in companies dedicated to solving social and environmental challenges. Rather than operating as a one-off donation, it functions as an investment in social ventures, aiming to generate long-term social value by growing together with these enterprises.

  • Q. What inspired the launch of the Impact Fund?

The fund was established out of the recognition that traditional CSR approaches have limitations in addressing today's complex social challenges. To tackle these social issues in a more structural and scalable manner, Amorepacific introduced a new approach: impact investing.

  • Q. Where is the Impact Fund currently operating?

The Impact Fund operates both in South Korea and globally, including in India and Indonesia. By aligning with the distinct social challenges and market dynamics of each region, we drive our initiatives in close partnership with local enterprises.

  • Q. What is the ultimate goal you hope to achieve through the Impact Fund?

Ultimately, our goal is to establish a framework where corporate activities go beyond individual satisfaction to restore both society and the environment. We aim to build an ecosystem where customers and enterprises work hand in hand, actively participating in a shared movement to create a better world.
