On May 28, the inaugural event of the 2026 “AMORE YOUTH” Spring Project took place at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in Chengdu. Under the theme of “Midterms of Life: Self-Laboratory,” this year’s project featured interactive programs designed to help students directly experience and engage in “self-exploration”\u2014a concept that can often feel abstract. <\/p>

<\/p>

The event was structured into four progressive stages: beginning with “peeling away” the stereotypes that have defined one’s personal limits, followed by “checking” one’s potential, “envisioning” future directions, and ultimately “shaping” one’s own identity. Centered around the core question of “Who am I?,” the programs provided students with a meaningful opportunity to deepen their self-understanding and discover their inner motivations. <\/p>

An “Energy Knight”\u2014a student volunteer who participated in the event\u2014shared their reflection: “By focusing completely on the participants’ experiences, I found myself responding and expressing my emotions much more naturally. It was wonderful to see everyone genuinely immersed and enjoying the moment with such authenticity.” The natural transformation and personal growth demonstrated throughout the activities are evaluated as a significant achievement of this “Midterms of Life” themed event. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

With “self-exploration” as its core theme, the 2026 “AMORE YOUTH” project established a structured, step-by-step framework consisting of three key phases: Engagement, Deepening, and Expansion. In the Engagement phase, the project drives student participation through campus-wide events and group activities led by psychological counseling committees. To help students interested in self-exploration translate their thoughts into concrete actions, the Deepening phase offers more immersive programs, including online challenges, structured small-group sessions, and theater workshops. Moving into the Expansion phase, the focus shifts to strengthening peer-to-peer support, where the project provides capacity-building training for the “Energy Knights” to ensure that the positive energy of personal growth continuously spreads among the students. <\/p>

In particular, the theater small-groups, which previously received highly positive feedback, have evolved this year into “Continuous Theater Small-Groups” that are planned, developed, and managed directly by the “Energy Knights.” By actively participating in the entire process from Education and Design to Execution, the students are successfully expanding their roles beyond mere beneficiaries to become co-creators and operators. In addition, the project introduced a functional workbook titled Finding My Own Path, centered on self-exploration, ensuring that this vital psychological support extends beyond a one-time event on campus into the students’ daily lives. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Building on seven years of operational experience, the 2026 “AMORE YOUTH” project continues its mental health support initiatives, aligning even more closely with the daily lives of young adults. The project addresses the anxieties today’s university students face during their transition into adulthood, while simultaneously highlighting the intrinsic value of self-exploration. The process of accepting one’s vulnerabilities and learning to encourage oneself positively is, in itself, a beautiful journey of discovering and protecting one’s inner worth. <\/p>

This initiative serves as a meaningful localized expression of Amorepacific\u2019s corporate vision, “Create New Beauty,” within the field of mental health, reflecting the belief that true beauty begins with caring for and respecting oneself and expands further through autonomous self-exploration. <\/p>

The value and pioneering nature of this social contribution model have also been widely recognized externally; the project was selected as an “Outstanding Brand ESG Practice” by the Advertising Industry Association in 2025 and received the “Leading Local Practice Award” from the Shanghai Daily. Grounded in this momentum, the Spring 2026 project has expanded its reach to approximately 20 universities across China, steadily broadening its unique value in the field of student mental health support through industry recognition and deep resonance among youth. <\/p>
